To determine whether an adopter is right for one of our animals and vice versa,
we have a thorough adoption process which is as follows:

Step 1:
Application
Here, we like to find out as much as possible about you. Your experience, your home and your lifestyle. There are no right or wrong answers but it will help us determine whether one of our animals would be the right fit for you and which one might be more suitable if so. You can find our application form by clicking here, at the top and bottom of our cats or dogs for adoption pages or on the how to contact us page.
Step 2:
Video Call
The next step would be for one of our volunteers to call you to talk through your application form answers in more detail. We can also chat about things like training, how you would deal with typical behavioural scenarios as well as the history for your chosen animal and what to expect upon arrival etc. ​We can also answer any questions you might have.
Step 3:
Home Check
The next stage is for one of our volunteers to arrange a home check so we can ensure your home and garden is suitable and safe for the dog or cat you are hoping to adopt.
Step 4:
Adoption
If you have passed our home check we will be in touch to explain the next steps. These steps and timescales vary depending on each animal. For example, whether the cat or dog is in a foster home or at a location in The Balkans. ​
