Sunflower - now ready for her forever home.
She is so special, our senior Tibetan Mastiff mix girl. Approx 8 years old, a total gentle giant, an angel. Beautiful both inside and out, kind with all people and happy to be around other dogs. The vet loves her and the groomer said she was their best client ever!
Poor Sunflower was found abandoned on the street on a very hot day, she had reportedly been in this same spot for weeks and just looked so sick, the heat and her thick, matted fur were an awful combination and she was really suffering. She was also very underweight, likely used for breeding and discarded once she became too old to make them any money. To our delight and surprise, once we took her to the vet they gave her the all clear! Yes she needed a groom and good food, but other than that she was healthy and clearly had a heart of gold, so forgiving to humans despite what they had done to her. She deserves such an amazing home for her golden years. Could it be you?
